Agreement

By using Spend2Sheet you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

What the service does

Spend2Sheet reads receipts, invoices and bills that you send it, and records the details in a Google Sheet in your Google Drive, saving the original file to a folder in that same Drive.

Your account

You sign in with Google. You are responsible for keeping access to that Google account secure, and for the activity that happens under your Spend2Sheet account.

You must be old enough to enter into a contract where you live, and you must use the service lawfully.

Your data is yours

You keep all rights to the receipts you upload and the records we create from them. We claim no ownership over them.

You grant us only the permission we need to run the service for you: to read the documents you send, extract their details, and write those details and files into your Google Drive.

Beta, and what it means

Spend2Sheet is in beta and free to use. That has two consequences worth being straightforward about:

• Things may break, change, or behave unexpectedly more often than in a mature product.
• We will introduce paid plans in future. When we do, we will give you notice in advance rather than surprising you, and anything you have already saved remains in your own Drive regardless of what you decide to do.

Accuracy — please read this one

Spend2Sheet uses AI to read documents. It is good, and it is not perfect. It can misread an amount, a date, a currency or a vendor name, particularly on poor-quality photographs or unusual formats.

You are responsible for checking the records before relying on them — for tax filings, statutory accounts, reimbursement, or any other purpose where being wrong has consequences. Spend2Sheet is a data-entry tool. It is not an accountant, a bookkeeper, or tax advice, and it does not replace professional review.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Upload content you have no right to upload.
• Attempt to break, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the service or another user’s data.
• Use the service to process material that is illegal where you are.
• Resell or redistribute the service without our written agreement.

We apply reasonable usage limits to keep the service running for everyone. If you have a legitimate need for more, ask us.

Third-party services

Spend2Sheet depends on Google Drive and Google Sheets. Your use of those is governed by your agreement with Google, and interruptions or changes on their side can affect the service in ways we do not control.

Availability

We aim to keep the service running and to make it reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may change or discontinue features. If we ever discontinue the service entirely, we will give you reasonable notice — and your spreadsheet and files will still be in your Drive.

Ending it

You can stop using Spend2Sheet at any time and delete your account from Settings. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the service at risk, and we will tell you why where we reasonably can.

Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Spend2Sheet is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue, or data.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we will tell you before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated terms.
